Court action brought against Crocs

The well-known footwear manufacturer is being charged with copying women’s sandals created by their competitor, Dawgs. In addition, three Crocs’ employees, one of them also a former Dawgs’ employee, are accused of helping to steal data by computer hacking, which allegedly allowed them to obtain confidential information about the product that is now being counterfeited. According to a Dawgs representative, they have been manufacturing, developing and selling the footwear in question for years, and Crocs’ actions have been intentional.
